Android 12 Beta : Now available in India

Android 12 Beta is now available for multiple devices including some non-google pixel devices. last night over Google IO 2021 Keynote Session, Android 12 Beta version was released with the list of eligible devices. However, not all the devices listed are available for download in India, but we still have a handful of smartphones in India to play with Android 12 beta.

Globally Android 12 beta is available for 22 smartphones, In India number of eligible devices is just 10. I have attached the list of Android 12 beta eligible devices below.

How to download and install Android 12 beta

  1. Open the browser new tab and head over to Android 12 beta website
  2. Select the device which is eligible.
  3. Click on “Get the Beta”
  4. Follow the instructions on the page to download and install the update

Installation method varies depending on the phone you hold on and its better to follow the OEM manufacturer instructions displayed over the screen. Once downloaded installation will begin and the phone will get restarted automatically.  Eureka ! Now you have access to Android 12 beta. Before you proceed ahead to install the updates, It is  recommended to take the complete backup of the device.
